More of us are increasingly feeling overwhelmed and fatigued in our everyday life. Our guts aren't happy either, with many feeling constipated and sluggish. It's not surprising when our minds and bodies have to work so hard each and every day. The toxins of everyday life can weigh us down, make us sick and distracted. That's why a number of people are turning to magnesium peroxide (Mag O7). It's a way to restore balance in their lives. Due to its inability to survive in an oxygen-enriched environment, Mag 07 fights the anaerobic bacteria in our bodies. Aside from the obvious benefits of the magnesium are of course the additional benefits of the extra oxygen in the magnesium peroxide. Just a 1/4 of a teaspoon thoroughly mixed in with one liter and half of distilled or purified water can provide as much oxygen as several bottles of the often rather expensive and widely advertised bottles of oxygenated water that almost always contain no magnesium and are a actually a dilute form of hydrogen peroxide. But people swear by them for the great "oxygen" benefits they provide.
I would suggest Mag 07 powder by Aerobic Life or similar food-grade product for this purpose. Be very careful in handling magnesium peroxide in its pure chemical form because it can burn skin on contact and be rather corrosive. ALWAYS dilute with much water before drinking according to instructions on label! Only small amounts are necessary to achieve its full benefits. Depending on the individual, amounts higher than 1/4 of a teaspoon per 1.5 liters of water can soften stools and even larger amounts are used by many to rather thoroughly clean out the entire digestive system.
I personally do not feel the need to clean out my colon, so I take only the smaller amounts (less than or around 1/4 teaspoon per 1.5 liters of water) and dink that mixture all day long to get all the amazing health benefits of oxygenated water without the rather extreme colon cleansing effect which for me at this stage of my health and healing would not only be unnecessary, but undesirable.
So why am I writing about this amazing powder in the first place? Of all the supplements I use to deeply expand my health and my spiritual awareness for deeper meditation, etc. I was taken by surprise by the obvious benefits almost immediately enjoyed after my first few drinks of this magnesium form of oxygenated water. I felt so much more refreshed than from drinking just ordinary water (I use distilled water) and noticed a much greater sense of well-being and wholeness. Something felt "right" about it so I am continuing to use it, and since I use only small amounts, it is very, very economical and far more effective than using the conventional oxygenated water drops that come from those commercially available "oxygenated" water dropper bottles.
I thought all of this "oxygenated" water business just a gimmick until I noticed the remarkable changes in my health, energy and well-being, etc. Some people have even claimed it (magnesium peroxide) reversed or removed their cancer, and helped others fight off serious infections. I have no proof of these claims whatsoever, but there are some anecdotal reports out there of independent people benefiting from a seemingly miraculous healing. However, I would NEVER treat something as serious as cancer by exclusively relying on just one substance, herb or other natural remedy or medicine, but by a carefully designed synergistic combination of all foods, herbs, supplements, etc. as an essential part of an entire lifestyle one would stick to permanently.
The benefits of adding extra molecular oxygen to drinking water are often touted as being the following. I cannot guarantee any of the following benefits of course, but many sources of information are claiming that it helps to revitalize the body and improve your health. Oxygen, they say, plays a powerful and primary role in ones overall health and well-being. It is vital for proper metabolic functions, blood circulation, the assimilation of nutrients, and digestion and the elimination of cellular and metabolic wastes. Even our abilities to think, feel, and act require oxygen related energy production. Sufficient oxygen helps the body in its ability to rebuild itself and maintain a strong and healthy immune system. A growing number of researchers have confirmed that the best way to improve health may be related to the optimum oxygenation of every cell.
I never believed nor took any of this idea of supplementing with extra oxygen very seriously because obviously oxygen is highly ubiquitous in that you take it in with every breath, and furthermore, oxygen can be highly corrosive! I benefit greatly from all manner of antioxidant supplements, herbs and foods designed to protect me from the corrosive and aging effects of oxygen metabolism helping to age much more slowly and it has! Having taken many antioxidants since my late 20s, and now that I am 60, I can DEFINITELY stand up for all the powerful benefits of regularly taking antioxidant supplements! So why supplement with more oxygen then as this idea appears to completely contradict the need for antioxidants?
Well the biochemistry of the human body is far more complicated than one would previously suppose. The immune system needs molecular oxygen (not from the air, but an ozonated form of oxygen already locked inside a chemically bound molecule such as magnesium peroxide or as the commonly availble substance, hydrogen peroxide) to use to fight off unfriendly microbes, viruses and cancer cells. Also there is a huge benefit to one's digestive system helping to keep the vast numbers of vital microflora free of the more dangerous forms of anaerobic bacteria that tend to not be so healthy. In other words molecular oxygen tends to help keep and support the growth of only friendly microbes in the gut, therefore improving one's digestion overall while helping to keep one's body and breath feel more fresh and odorless.
